A growing manufacturer is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team
Reactive and proactive engineering at fast paved production site, ensuring minimum downtime. Working on continuous improvement projects, and to a safe manner in line with Health & Safety procedures. This a great position for an enthusiastic multi-skilled maintenance engineer.
Role Description
- Working as part of a close knit engineering tea, completing Electrical and Mechanical PPM's, Reactive & Breakdown maintenance
- Working within a Skilled Team
- Reporting into the Maintenance Manager
- Maintenance across a range of FMCG machinery
- To contribute to kaizen projects working cross functionally
- Machine installations
- Lots of internal & external training and development opportunities
- Adhering to Health & Safety on site at all times
Skills and Qualifications
- Time-Served, Apprenticeship trained with Level 3/HNC electrical qualifications
- Strong Background within Packaging, FMCG, Food or Plastic manufacturing. With a clear understanding of PM schedules
- Fault finding ability both Electrically & Mechanically
- Motivated to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLC's, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Knowledge of Kaizen, Six Sigma and 5S, Continuous Improvement Methods
- Proven experience and drive to work in a fast-paced environment
