Our client are seeking a Temporary Procurement Administrator to support our procurement team in managing and optimising our purchasing activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all procurement processes are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Procurement Administrator are:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the procurement department, including processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and managing supplier relationships.
  • Liaise with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support in sourcing and acquiring necessary products and services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, supplier information, and payment records.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and approval work flows.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Support the resolution of any issues related to procurement, such as discrepancies in delivery, quality, or billing.
  • Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Perform other administrative tasks and support projects as assigned by the Procurement Manager.
