Job Summary
Aspire People is seeking confident and experienced Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis in secondary schools across Hatfield, Welwyn, and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with at least one year of experience working in UK schools as a Cover Supervisor or HLTA.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences
Deliver pre-set lessons and ensure students remain on task
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate school staff
Provide brief feedback on student progress and engagement
Maintain a calm and productive classroom environment
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cover Supervisor or HLTA in UK secondary schools (essential)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to different school environments
A proactive and professional attitude
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred for punctuality and ease of travel between schools
Typical Working Hours
8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Term-time only
No planning or marking required
