One to One Personnel is proud to be working with our global brand client who is looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join their shipping team based in Watford.
To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in shipping or logistics coordination.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist and handle the day to day operational matters within the shipping team
- Monitor the purchase order schedule(Ex factory) and delays
- Coordinate, assist and manage the shipment of good ensuring timely and efficient delivery whilst maintaining compliance with all regulations
- Arrange, schedule and monitor shipments for domestic and international deliveries
- Coordinate with suppliers, forwarders and 3PL Logistic partners to ensure timely dispatch, shipping and delivery of goods
- Verify shipping documentation and enter the inbound details in ERP
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders
- Communicate with the forwarder and resolve shipping issues and any potential issues
- Maintain accurate records for audit
The scope of the role and responsibility may expand or be varied depending on the needs of the company's business to adapt to changing market conditions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in shipping or logistics coordination
- Degree preferably in logistics, supply chain management or related
- Proficient in ERP software and MS Office and Excel
