Are you an experienced Production Manager with a passion for rolling stock and a keen eye for detail? We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Rolling Stock Production Manager based on the outskirts of London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire production process of rolling stock, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage and lead a team of skilled production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards are met.
- Coordinate with other departments, including engineering and logistics, to streamline production operations.
- Monitor production KPIs and continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare and manage production schedules, resource plans, and cost estimates.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a production management role within the rolling stock or rail industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
