Role and Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting children in Year 5 by:
  • Offering tailored 1:1 and small group support to help students with Autism and ADHD build confidence and develop essential skills.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalized learning strategies.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages independence.
  • Assisting with classroom management and utilising effective strategies to support positive behaviour.

Candidate Requirements

  • The school is looking for a candidate who possesses:
  • Previous experience working with children with Autism and/or ADHD.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and colleagues.
