  • Starting salary: £35,000 and OTE of £55,000+

Reed Recruitment are looking for a talented and driven Business Development Manager, on behalf of our well known and market leading client. You will be responsible for focusing on generating 100% new business within a defined geographical area. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a passion for maximising revenue streams and delivering exceptional results.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Develop and maintain a profitable customer base, maximising all revenue streams for our products and services.
  • Ensure effective territory management to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Gain a thorough knowledge of all sectors of our Rental and Sales product offering to achieve new business targets.
  • Maximise Sales and Rental opportunities in line with operational capabilities and Depot routing priorities.
  • Proactively prospect for additional business and respond promptly to incoming leads or enquiries.
  • Utilise skills and questioning techniques to identify and deliver new sales contracts aligned with our products and services.
  • Maintain close communication with internal functions such as Depots, back office, and warehouse teams.
  • Record all customer meeting minutes and sales activity on Salesforce.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Clean driving licence.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, ABS, and Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • In-depth knowledge of company products and services.
  • Strong planning and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of the protective clothing industry and laundering.
  • Commercial awareness and financial acumen.
  • Adaptability and a high level of commitment.
  • Creative approach to territory management.
