We are seeking a Executive Assistant to join a successful Edinburgh property company, supporting the director with a varied workload. This role requires a wide range of skills including managing contracts, litigation, and varied ad hoc assignments. The ideal candidate will be polite, approachable, and professional, with a sense of humour and a flexible attitude.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Triaging the director's tasks and managing their diary.
  • Assisting the directors with correspondence and drafting replies.
  • Handling incoming mail and telephone calls with professionalism.
  • Utilising competent Word, Excel, and Outlook skills to present information.
  • Providing holiday and sickness cover by shadowing other staff responsibilities.
  • Performing all other administrative duties including filing, managing petty cash, and occasional travel and event management.
  • Ensuring task completion with accuracy and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Established record of working in a similar environment; knowledge of the property sector is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability with computer skills including intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to respond to a high volume of queries accurately.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Proven ability to complete individual cases accurately, sometimes over a long duration.
  • A valid driving licence.

The position is ideal for an outgoing, flexible individual of high integrity, with a keen sense of humour. The role requires an ability to act on your own initiative when appropriate. You must be an excellent communicator, capable of building interpersonal relationships with diverse audiences, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
