Day-to-day of the role:
- Support pupils with a range of behavioural and learning needs.
- Work closely with teachers to implement educational plans.
- Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Utilize therapeutic interventions to help students manage behaviour and emotions.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSE grade C/4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
- High level of emotional intelligence and resilience.
- Flexible approach to work and ability to embrace change.
- Commitment to professional growth and development.
- Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
