Finance Manager

You will be working for a public sector organisation who specialise in Education.
Your new role
You will be reporting to the Director of Finance and be responsible for the finance function. There is a team of 5 to manage. The role is all-round finance manager, and you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the finance department. This includes overseeing financial accounting, producing the monthly management accounts, overseeing the payroll for 220 people, supporting the year-end audit and auditors, overseeing all the daily transactional finance. You will also support the annual budget setting process and monthly monitoring.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant.
Ideally, experience of working in an education setting of any sort, but also flexible to include charities, trusts, small SME organisations in the private sector as well
Be interested in 4 days per week with 28 hours worked across the week. Term time only.

What you'll get in return
The role is based 4 days per week in an office in Warwickshire.
Hourly rate of £28.45 p/hr Umbrella or £25.00 p/hr PAYE premium including holiday pay.

Lovely environment
The contract is expected to last for 8 months and there is the potential of a permanent role as well.
