Axon Moore have partnered with a high growth, acquisitive company based in Wakefield, to recruit an

Cash Specialist

to join their team, for an initial 12 month period, with a chance of this being extended/made permanent.

This role will present the chance for you to hone and develop your existing skill set, as well as, providing experience that will significantly develop your career. Joining this team is stepping into a welcoming and helpful team of finance professionals with a vivid culture.

The company offers a hybrid working scheme, therefore candidates are only expected to commute to the office 2/3 times per week, after the initial 2 week training period.

This role is also suitable for graduates who are keen to gain finance experience, and have the ability to learn quickly.

This role:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Cash application
  • Invoice production and processing
  • Stakeholder management
  • Working to process transactions across multiple entities

Experience/Qualifications /Skills:

  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Sage200 (desirable)
  • Experience in excel and the formatting of documents.
  • Understanding the importance of achieving deadlines and ensuring quality output.
  • To ensure confidentiality and security of all business, client and customer documentation/information.
  • Ability to gather, assimilate, analyse and effectively summarise information and give briefings/prepare briefing notes as necessary.
  • Experience in the formatting of documents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities without immediate supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders with strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise daily tasks to meet deadlines timely.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, word and outlook.
  • Flexible and collaborative approach to working with clients, leaseholders and associates across all levels as well as working as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to approach problems both logically and creatively.
  • Proactive and dynamic taking ownership of all of core duties.

Salary and benefits:

  • £24,000 - £26,500
  • Hybrid working when settled (2-3 days a week from home)
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Temp-Perm (possible)
  • Flexible start and finish time
