You will be joining a wonderful Primary School in the BS36 area of South Gloucestershire as a Learning Support Assistant. You will be joining an experienced and enthusiastic team of Teachers and TAs.
This 2 form entry Primary School offers a great opportunity for you to develop and expand your knowledge and skills through the experience provided. They are open to passionate candidates who thrive in supporting children with their personal and educational development.
The Role
From November, you will be working on a full-time basis between their Year 5 and 6 class as a Learning Support Assistant.
In this role, you will be supporting the Class Teacher by setting up activities, encouraging engagement and providing support throughout lessons and interventions.
You must be flexible with your KS2 knowledge, being able to support all core subjects and between year groups.
You will be supporting children in small groups and on a 1 to 1 basis.
You will be expected to:
- Have previous experience of working with children.
- Have high expectations of Positive Behaviour Management.
- Communicate clearly with the Class Teacher to show children's learning and development.
- Create a positive learning environment.
Working with Long-term Teachers:
