Working with a highly reputable business in the Fylde area, I am seeking a dedicated FP&A Manager to provide my client's senior management team with the financial analysis and information required for operational, financial, and strategic decision-making. This pivotal role will contribute to both short- and long-term planning, driving business success through insightful analysis and recommendations.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Develop financial models to support strategic planning and forecasting.
  • Reconcile transactions by cross-referencing data to ensure accuracy.
  • Stay informed on financial instruments, market conditions, and trends to maintain technical knowledge.
  • Analyse and monitor KPIs, including sales, payments, and supply chain targets.
  • Prepare reports for Group reporting requirements and assist in analysing results.
  • Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend actions to management.
  • Play a key role in the annual budgeting process and perform productivity, utilisation, and capacity analysis.
  • Create reporting formats to highlight areas of attention and variances.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests with appropriate reports for analysis.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified or part-qualified in a recognised professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Demonstrable FP&A experience.
  • Excellent presentation skills with an engaging approach.
  • Self-starter with outstanding interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in a fast-moving group reporting function.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on advancing output.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and accountability.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and making strategic recommendations.
  • Advanced IT and Excel skills, with proficiency in Power BI and SQL programming.
