This Quality Inspector position is working for an aerospace manufacturer in the Fareham area. The role is Monday to Friday, offering flexible hours across a 38 hour week. The role is fully onsite and is paying a salary of around £30,000 depending on experience.

This Quality Inspector position does have a range of responsibilities within the role. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out inspection of manufactured parts and assemblies in relation to specifications. It will also be important to work to standards and engineering drawings. The successful candidate will be expected to use the correct and suitable equipment to conduct inspections. The successful candidate would be expected to identify non compliance and carry out root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions. It is also important to ensure calibration and good upkeep of inspection equipment. This role involves working closely with the Quality team to ensure inspection reports and quality rejects are communicated throughout the team, as well as any other collaboration.
You will need:
- Experience within a mechanical quality inspection position
- A working understanding of NCRs, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions
- Experience working to AS9100 or similar high standards
- To be able to write and file reports accurately
- Exceptional communication
- Keen eye to detail
- To be willing to commute to the Fareham area
