Description
- Overseeing the entire credit control process within the finance department.
- Implementing new policies to enhance the department's performance.
- Managing debtor balances to ensure that financial targets are consistently met.
- Liaising with customers regarding overdue payments and negotiate repayment plans.
- Conducting credit checks on potential clients.
- Preparing reports detailing the status of credit control within the company.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Identifying improvements to the credit control process and implementing changes where necessary.
Profile
A successful Credit Manager should have:
- A strong educational background in Accounting or a related field.
- Previous experience in a credit control role within an FMCG environment.
- Proficiency in using financial software systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
