Role: Contract Deputy Programme Manager
Term: 8 Months
Rate: £525 a day
IR35: Outside
Location: Remote
Our client seeks a highly skilled Contract Deputy Programme Manager to join their team for an initial 8 months engagement. You'll be a key player, with the delivery of the Banner Stabilisation project along with providing frameworks, R&R, Workscope documents and BBMG Prioritisation outputs.
Responsibilities:
The project will be split into 2 phases:
1st August - 31st of December 2024 (Programme Set up)
- Delivery of Banner Stabilisation 'Moth ball' activities to closure and lessons learned
Outputs- Closure Document
- Lead the programme set-up activities with a specific focus on design, test strategy, change life-cycle and student life cycle alignment
- Develop work stream scope for De-customisation & HESA Reporting
- Enable the prioritisation activities for BBMG
Outputs- PMO delivered framework, R&R, Plans, Work scope documents, BBMG Prioritisation outputs
1st January - 1st April 2025 (Programme Delivery Support)
- Set up work stream readiness for delivery
- Create aligned programme delivery plan
- Embed new strategies developed above
- Output- KPI output on delivery efficiency in the first 4 months
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience of HE technical delivery
- Significant Programme and Project Leadership experience
- In-depth knowledge of programme and project management methods and principles
- Exceptional leadership and organisational skills
- In-depth understanding of performance evaluation principles
- Proficiency in various programme management software, including MS Office, MS Project and Basecamp
- Ability to manage a team and stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and time management skills
