Control System Engineer

  • The company is open to hiring an experienced engineer as well as a more junior level engineer.

The company specialize in Oil & Gas production, transportation and processing with a team of over a 1,000 experts serving customers globally.

This role is focused on providing support and services to end users and clients, as well as internal support to Projects and Engineering departments. Based within the company Oil & Gas domain, but with a requirement to provide flexible support to a number of other Oil & Gas regional offices as required.

Role & Experience Summary:

  • These roles are a blend of site and office based work, with a mix of design, engineering, commissioning and support.
  • The mix of office vs site is about 30% Office / 70% Site over a year.
  • Engineers require PLC & SCADA software knowledge and experience (ideally skills in programming Allen Bradley hardware platforms).
  • The roles will require feature offshore content, however previous offshore experience is not required.
  • The company will pay and provide training and certification for offshore.

Package:

  • Salaries are made up of a basic, with bonus and multiple uplifts for offshore & site work resulting in an enhanced OTE.
  • Basic salary will depend on the role with the junior level position paying £30 - £40,000 per annum. The experienced engineer in the region of £40 - £55,0000. Both roles have uplifts, overtime, site / offshore allowance, bonus etc.
  • The package also includes Private Health Care, Life Assurance, up 11% combined pension etc.
  • OTE for these roles is in the region of £60,000 - £80,000 with uplifts for offshore, site work and offshore.
  • In the future with offshore experience the opportunity to do more offshore work and further enhance earnings is possible.

For the Junior level role the company can consider 1 - 3 years industry experience working on PLC / SCADA / HMI Software. 4 years+ for the more experienced engineer level role.
