Teacher of Geography Required for Secondary School in Barking and Dagenham

About the role
We are working with the school to recruit a permanent Geography Teacher, teaching at least Key Stage 3, Ideally Key Stage 3 and 4.
The school is focused on providing the highest quality of education for a cohort of East London children, many of whom are from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school has a real focus on work life balance by ensuring emails are switched off on evenings and weekends as well as the school being closed by 5pm each day to ensure staff are not staying behind working late into the evening. The school looks for Teachers who have a genuine passion for teaching disadvantaged children within a mainstream setting.
About you
- QTS with a Humanities specialism
- Experience teaching Geography at KS3 in a secondary school
- Proven background of high pupil progress
- A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils you work with
