Senior Account Manager / PR Manager

My client are a well established agency on the lookout for a seasoned PR professional with a flair for B2B communications and a knack for creating compelling content. If you have a proven track record in PR, particularly within an agency setting, and are adept at handling a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, we want you on our team. This role would also suit an experienced PR professional or someone with a Journalistic background.
Day to Day of the role:
- Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns that deliver measurable results.
- Craft and pitch newsworthy stories, manage media relations, and maximise social media success.
- Organise and coordinate press briefings, trips, and media support at international events.
- Create and manage engaging social media content schedules and campaigns.
- Collaborate with creative teams to produce insightful briefs and oversee project completion.
- Act as a project manager, ensuring client programmes are on track and problem-free.
- Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, controlling costs, and proofreading documents.
- Manage advertising schedules, liaise with suppliers, and monitor campaign metrics.
- Contribute to agency marketing efforts and participate in new business pitches.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years' experience in a PR role, ideally within an agency and on B2B or technical brands.
- Strong understanding of PR strategies and media relations.
- Excellent content creation skills with a passion for crafting compelling multi-channel content.
- Ability to dive deep into technical subjects and make them accessible to target audiences.
- Marketing and digital experience, including social media, email marketing, and nurturing/automation platforms.
- Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, team-oriented individual with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Experience in mentoring and supporting team members.
