Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities
- Create an encouraging and engaging environment where pupils learn, develop and flourish.
- Listen and observe pupils needs by tailoring tasks according to teacher instructions.
- Upholding and adhering school policies and procedures related to child protection, heath and behaviour.
Teaching Assistant- Required skills and qualifications
- Extensive experience working with 11 - 16 year olds OR limited experience but desire for a career in education.
- Ability to get stuck in, be supportive and build relationships with pupils.
- No criminal convictions - Will need a valid DBS (produced through us if you're without one).
- Be registered with the Educational Workforce Council (also can be procured by us).
Teaching Assistant - Desirable Skills
- Full driving license and a car.
- Living in Newport.
- Understanding of the national curriculum.
