Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be working on behalf of a leading manufacturing business, seeking an experienced and driven Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with a manufacturing background to play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and delivering critical insights to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing accurate management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitoring production costs, conducting variance analysis, and identifying trends
- Delivering timely financial reports to aid decision-making
- Partnering with department heads to monitor financial performance and suggest improvements
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Identifying and implementing improvements in financial processes to boost efficiency
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment (advantageous)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills across all levels of the business
- CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualification, or equivalent experience
