Systems Technical Support Engineer - What Will I Be Doing?
- Providing technical and analytical support to their clients, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to installations, migrations, and upgrades,
- Communicating directly with clients, mainly via email or online, to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Working on license generation, technical writing, and reporting and supporting the international development team by identifying and resolving faults and bugs.
- Troubleshooting using logfiles and plugin logfiles and working with SQL Server/SQL Server Management Studio.
Systems Technical Support Engineer - What Experience Do I Need?
- Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in customer support, with a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with SQL Server/SQL Server Management Studio (essential)
- A background in the petroleum industry is advantageous
- A BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Petroleum Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent standard of English both written and verbal.
Systems Technical Support Engineer - What Else Do I Need to Know?
- This is a full-time hybrid role based in Reigate, there is the option for some work-from-home flexibility after the initial induction and probation period.
- Full training and mentoring will be provided, so prior knowledge of our software is not essential.
- Graduates with a placement year or internship experience are welcome to apply.
- Occasional international travel may be required.
