Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Aftermarket department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and service of our equipment and will play a key role in developing and expanding service contracts with our customers.
Day to Day of the role:
- Offer and negotiate regular service contracts with customers.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction in line with company expectations.
- Problem-solve issues on the job and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Learn to assemble and disassemble all mechanical equipment in our range (training provided).
- Maintain clear and effective communication with customers, answering questions with discretion and honesty.
- Initiate and follow-up with customers to sell services, resolve problems, and provide correspondence and reports.
- Collaborate with other departments.
- Comply with ISO 9000 procedures to maintain the highest levels of quality at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Thoroughness and a commitment to high standards of work.
- Self-motivated, confident, and able to problem-solve independently.
- Commercial awareness and experience in negotiating service contracts are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good mechanical engineering background.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Driving License in the UK
