This well-established manufacturer based in Swindon seeks an Office Administrator to join the engineering and contracts team. A full-time position Monday to Friday - 100% office based, working 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. This position is best suited to a candidate who has worked in a similar environment, and who can share previous employment skills gained in a busy office administration environment. Offering an annual salary of up to £28,000 plus a range of excellent employee benefits.

Your key responsibilities will include submitting sub-contractor quotes and ensuring to maintain an in-house MRP system with accurate information. Assisting stores with the identification of subcontract jobs that need compiling, and extensive liaison with suppliers regarding goods and services. Working alongside finance and sales to ensure that all relevant information is obtained, assisting with invoice queries, scanning of documentation, processing returns plus extensive telephone and email communication – both internally and externally.

As the Office Administrator, you will receive training to provide general sales administration support, checking processed orders, whilst ensuring that clients are handled professionally and confidently when calling the office. Responsible for answering general switchboard enquiries and all general correspondence. We are looking for a confident and approachable candidate, someone who is comfortable speaking to a wide range of suppliers, internal staff and the senior management teams.

Naturally, you will need to demonstrate advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel), knowledge of MRP systems and the ability to multitask, using your proven administration and organisational skills.
