Your new role
As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the company. Your responsibilities will include calculating wages and pension deductions using Sage, processing payslips, and handling BACS payments. You will also be responsible for sales ledger activities such as issuing sales invoices, resolving client queries, and credit control. Additionally, you will manage the purchase ledger, including entering purchase invoices, and paying suppliers. You will produce timely management accounts, process accruals, prepayments, P&L, balance sheet and monitor cash flow. Your role will also involve updating and maintaining the costing system, issuing uplift letters, and reconciling bank accounts daily. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in payroll, sales ledger, and purchase ledger management. Proficiency in using Sage and Xero is essential, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be able to produce accurate management accounts and have experience in handling accruals, prepayments, and depreciation. Strong communication skills are necessary to liaise with external accounts and solve client queries. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines are also crucial for this role.
