Our client, a leading and recognisable name within the Property and Construction Industry, is looking to recruit a Regional Accountant for their Southern office.
Reporting to the Regional Finance Director with regular contact with the Regional Managing Director, this role is an integral part of the overall Regional team, and you would be responsible for providing and analysing both financial and non-financial information to support the control and management of region and divisions.
You would be responsible for the following:
- Provide and analyse both financial and non-financial information to support the control and management of the Region's 6 divisions
- Monitor regional results, budgets and forecasts, and provide and consolidate information and answering enquiries for the Group Management
- Establish working relationships across all the divisions in the Region and with Group personnel relying on the Region's reports
- Remain organized, have an inquisitive approach, and think on your feet in a fast-moving multi-tasking environment
- Be highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Required knowledge and experience for the Regional Accountant role:
- Newly qualified or part qualified accountant
- Experience within the housebuilding industry is preferred
- COINS software would be extremely desirable
- Computer literate
- Ability to establish working relationships across all the divisions in the Region and with Group personnel
- Ability to remain organized, have an inquisitive approach, and think on your feet in a fast-moving multi-tasking environment
This role would be hybrid working and can be based out of any of the offices in East London / West London / Kent / Watford / Southampton / Guildford but would involve travel between them
