Finance Analyst, Cambridge (hybrid)
Reed Finance are delighted to be recruiting a permanent Finance Analyst to join a leading employer in Cambridge. Hybrid and flexible working is on offer.
You will support the Senior Management Team and Board in various aspects of financial analysis to support commercial decision making.
This is a great opportunity to work within an established but growing and modern business. Given this is not a technical accounting position, qualifications are not a necessity but it may suit a newly qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA).
Finance Analyst responsibilities will include:
- Weekly sales analysis and reporting to ensure the business is informed and up to date with current trends. Produce the information for, and manage, the weekly trading update.
- Work with Sales, Admissions, and IT to ensure the sales reports reflect the most up to date information on pricing, discounts, and commission.
- Update and maintain commercial packs with latest pricing, discounting, admission, and other sales related policies
- Provide historical data for target setting and sales analysis
- Produce return on investment analysis of marketing campaigns and sales strategy.
What we are looking for:
- Strong analytical skills and proven record of analysis work
- Comfortable with large data sets
- Confident communication and presentation skills
- Advanced Excel
- Experience using tools such as Power BI
