Reed Legal are currently working in partnership with a national legal practice who pride themselves on providing exceptional legal services with a focus on private client matters. Their expertise in wills & probate, court of protection, and trusts has made this firm a trusted name in the Cheshire region and nationally.

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of post-qualification experience and a strong background in handling private client matters. This role does not involve any litigation work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on wills, probate, trusts, and court of protection matters
  • Draft and review legal documents related to wills, trusts, and probate
  • Manage a diverse caseload with a focus on delivering high-quality client service
  • Provide expert guidance on estate planning and administration
  • Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient case management
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations to provide accurate and current advice

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in private client law
  • Strong knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, and court of protection
  • Manage financial aspects of client work effectively and work within parameters communicated in relation to write offs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Professional qualifications in private client law are highly desirable

Salary:

  • £40,000+ DOE (Depending on Experience)
