Introduction:

Our client is a well-known and respected leader in security and vault services across Rugby and surrounding Coventry and Warwickshire. They are a family run organisation, specialising in mobile, static, vault and consultancy security services.

After establishing a strong presence, reputation and achieving significant growth, they now require a Business Development Manager that will be pivotal in increasing the active sales development activity.

The opportunity:

This is an opportunity for a proactive and self-motivated individual with experience of B2B business development. Industry specific experience in security is not essential. After a detailed period of getting to know the organisation, the successful candidate will start by drawing upon their experience to produce a long term and robust strategic sales plan and then get to work in delivering against it autonomously.

Key requirements:

  • Experience in a Business Development role
  • Demonstrable success in achieving sales targets
  • Ability to produce a detailed strategic sales plan
  • Experience in providing monthly sales reporting and expenditure to directors
  • Able to maximise the use of a CRM system
  • Research and identification of new markets for new and existing products and services
  • Ability to identifying and monitoring the status of ‘the competition' and amend the sales plan accordingly
  • Experience in account managing new and existing clients to ensure complete client satisfaction throughout the sales process
  • Hold a UK driving licence
  • Be able to self-manage and self-motivate, acting autonomously

In return, our client offers:

  • An annual salary of £35,000 - £40,000, negotiable depending on experience
  • OTE of £55,000 - £60,000 with an additional competitive commission scheme
