Purchase Ledger Controller

This amazing opportunity to join a rapidly expanding private health care group in the capacity of a Purchase Ledger Controller.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's purchase ledger and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed. This role is essential to maintaining the financial integrity and smooth operation of our business.

Day-to-day of the role:

Processing, coding, and matching invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.

Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.

Posting invoices and credit notes and ensuring they're coded correctly in the system

Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures

Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data

Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and correctly posted.

Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly supplier statement reconciliations

Generate reports detailing accounts payables status

Understand expense accounts and cost centres

Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes

Processing invoices to make sure payments are correct and on time

Requesting receipt of statements from invoicing contractors or businesses when they are not provided

Processing payment runs

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Clerk

Proven working experience as Accounts payable

Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable procedures

Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

Have strong MS Office skills and Navision proficiency is highly desirable.
