Position: Community Development Officer
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £32,406 per annum
Job Role
We are seeking a Community Development Officer to join our thriving Communities Team. In this role, you will work with West Kent residents to identify services and develop projects that meet local needs. You will foster partnerships at a local, regional, and national level, working closely with resident communities to make a meaningful impact on their lives.
About You
To excel in this role, you will have a collaborative approach with the ability to communicate effectively and honestly with a wide range of individuals and organisations. You will have the ability to encourage the local community to participate in activities in an approachable and welcoming manner. You will also have good organisation and time management skills and be able to effectively prioritise your own projects and workload.

Location Details
The role has an office base of our Sevenoaks Office.
The communities you will be working with are in North and East Kent, so it would be beneficial to have a full UK driving licence and your own transport.
We also offer hybrid working, with options to work from home when not visiting our communities.
