Management Accountant | £19 - £26 per hour | 9 month interim contract | South Yorkshire | 1 day a week in the office:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a large public sector organisation based in South Yorkshire who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to their team for a 9 month interim contract. The role offers hybrid working/flexi-time, generous annual leave and other great benefits.
Duties:
- Responsible for preparation of monthly management accounts
- Presenting reports to senior management to support with business decisions
- Provide support and advice for the wider business, including colleagues with a non-financial background
- Understand guidelines and regulations for financial reporting
- Build and maintain relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
Experience:
- Previous experience working in the wider public sector as a Management Accountant or a similar position
- Ability to provide complex financial advice to non-financial managers
- Advanced excel skills and strong financial system knowledge, ideally experience using Oracle
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
