Are you an Accounts Senior or a Management Accountant looking for a step up to a supervisory position? Are you looking for a sociable and local firm that can still offer a variety of complex clients?
Our client is a Top 40 firm with strong international presence and an established base in Surrey. Their client base typically includes Property, Media, Motorsports and Engineering, ranging from High-Net-Worth individuals to large groups. The team are young and sociable, encouraging a positive and proactive working environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing the management accounts for UK and multi-national companies and groups, prepared by staff within the department
- Advising on VAT and PAYE matters, including the review of monthly, quarterly and annual VAT returns
- Assisting startups in all aspects of financial support
- Implementation of accounting and computerised financial systems
- Review of statutory accounts for some clients
The successful candidate will
- Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Have experience of reviewing management accounts
- Demonstrate the ability to supervise a small team
- Some experience of accounts preparation assignments under FRS102, FRS102A or FRS105
- Ideally have accounted for consolidated group structures
