Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team for our Client in Warrington. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting and delivering materials to customers across the Midlands and Northwest.
Duties:
- Drive Class 2 HGV in a safe manner
- Transport goods over local or long-distance routes
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Unload and deliver using a sack truck, some materials will have to be handballed.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations
Shift's and pay:
- 5AM-6AM start times
- 40 Hours per week
- £13.75 per hour
Qualifications:
- 6+ Months Class 2 HGV CAT C entitlement
- Valid CPC and Tachograph Card
- Extensive knowledge of applicable HGV driving rules and regulations
- No more than 6 points for MINOR offences - None of the following can be accepted: DD,DG,IN,CD,TT.
- Good customer service skills as you will be customer facing at the point of delivery
