Start: ASAP,July 2024Rate: £400p/d umbrella Inside IR35Location: LeicestershireWorking Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days p/w in the office but this can be flexibleHours: 37hrs per week, Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm

Our client is looking for an experienced Service Manager to join them on an interim basis for the next 3-6 months initially.

You will be required to manage and Improve HR administration or Payroll services to partners and customers, by providing direction, empowerment, and development support to the teams.

You ideally need have experience in HR & Payroll and it is essential that have experience using the Oracle ERP system and IT packages as you will be required to hit the ground running!

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of 10 grade 10's which are established members
  • Ensuring that services provided are efficient, effective and customer focused in a way that seeks to maximise efficiency to deliver on-going cost savings
  • To manage and monitor the performance and quality of the HR/Payroll service against key performance indicators and Service Level Agreements
  • To lead on the creation, development and promotion of Service Level Agreements specific to areas of responsibility
  • To develop and review the appropriateness of KPIs specific to the area of responsibility ensuring that measures are used as an effective tool to monitor and improve performance
  • To ensure that knowledge of payroll legislation is current for yourself, your teams and the wider partnership
  • To support the partners to ensure that legislative payroll compliance is high in any policy changes
  • To be responsible for ensuring the provision of excellent customer service in line with agreed standards and key performance indicators
  • To pro-actively work in partnership with HR colleagues and other key stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery and process improvements
  • To effectively manage and develop team performance in line with SLAs and KPIs by supporting Team Leaders through feedback, coaching, APRs and performance management methods

Requirements:

  • Desirable to have experience with transactional services and shared services
  • Degree level in professional & management qualification
  • Experience in supporting and managing Team Leaders
