An excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal PA to support a Private Client Solicitor in a small but prestigious practice. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing exceptional client service. You will be working closely with the solicitor, managing the needs of high-net-worth individuals and ensuring seamless operations in a rural office location to the west of Salisbury, Wiltshire with a clientele base situated locally as well as in London.

As the Legal PA you'll be working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on site at the practice offices and the salary for this role is £35,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial and PA support to the Private Client Solicitor, including diary management, scheduling meetings, handling correspondence and organising travel when required.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring professionalism, discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • Prepare, proofread, and manage legal documents such as wills, trusts, probate forms and other private client legal paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate and organised electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring compliance with legal and data protection requirements.
  • Assist with invoicing, tracking payments, and ensuring accurate records are maintained for all client matters.
  • Liaise with clients, external stakeholders and legal professionals, maintaining strong relationships and clear, professional communication.
  • Manage and track the progression of legal cases and keep the solicitor informed of deadlines and key milestones.
  • Handle general office management duties, including ordering supplies, managing office facilities, and ensuring the smooth running of the practice.

We are ideally looking for proven Legal PA experience within a private client legal practice for this role as you will need:

  • Strong understanding of private client matters, including wills, estates, trusts and probate work.
  • The ability to manage a busy workload, multitask and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional accuracy in preparing and reviewing legal documents, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with high-profile clients in a polished and professional manner.
  • To be able to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, legal practice management software, and digital dictation systems.
