Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Health & Safety Compliance: Oversee site health and safety practices, including conducting risk assessments and participating in quarterly meetings. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Budget Management: Work collaboratively with the Head of Facilities to set budgets for facility-related expenses, including managing routine approvals.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all statutory regulations relating to facilities and office management.
- Service Level Management: Develop and monitor service standards in conjunction with senior management, ensuring our workplace services meet or exceed expectations.
- Process Development: Implement and maintain documented processes and procedures for efficient office operations and service levels.
- Issue Resolution & Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related issues, managing a help desk for on-site queries and escalating as needed. Regularly report on key metrics to the Head of Facilities.
- Vendor & Property Management: Administer contracts with suppliers, manage day-to-day office needs, and ensure optimal property maintenance in partnership with external agents.
Profile
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience managing office facilities with an emphasis on health and safety and administrative systems.
- Proficient in budget handling, with a solid understanding of vendor management.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communicator, capable of liaising with multiple departments and maintaining professional relationships with both internal teams and external vendors.

Office Manager - What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000.
- Based in Newcastle, Onsite, Office-Based.
