CMA Recruitment Group are currently supporting a leading financial services company to recruit an HR Business Partner on a permanent basis based in Portsmouth. What will the HR Business Partner role involve?

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's strategic goals by aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior management and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver comprehensive HR services, including employee relations, talent management, organisational development, and change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that support company goals.
  • Provide expert advice and support on a range of HR matters including employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
  • Lead talent management initiatives such as succession planning, career development, and employee engagement.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and practices that ensure compliance with employment laws and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Manage change management programs to ensure smooth transitions during business restructuring or transformation.
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to support workforce planning and ensure the business attracts and retains top talent.

Suitable Candidate for the HR Business Partner vacancy:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) is preferred but not essential.
