Calling all Work Planners!

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a part time Work Planner/ Scheduler?within their Property Care planning team.

In this key role you will be working as part of?a highly motivated?team planning planned and reactive?maintenance work for their customers.? Their team of Work Planners are?central to their drive to deliver?great customer service and 'right first time'?repairs and installations.?

This is a Part Time role working 24 hours a week Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 8:00-16:30.

What could you be doing?

Responsible for planning an operational multi-skill trades workforce, maintaining contact with field teams, and liaising with customers, you will need to be highly organised, approachable, and a confident communicator. It is a busy role, juggling different priorities and you will need to remain calm under pressure, think on your feet and be able to work on your own initiative. But this won't phase you as you will excel in organising the engineers and scheduling property maintenance and repairs. You will also have the support of a great team around you.

Who they are looking for:

  • Strong IT skills, particularly Outlook and Word??
  • Process driven with attention to detail?
  • Experience of working in a building maintenance or construction administration team as a work planner or scheduler
  • Demonstrable capability and experience of Workforce (Engineers) planning and scheduling software. Previous experience of using DRS is preferred so if you do have this, please highlight this in your application.

  • Whist this role is home based, there will be an expectation that you will be able to travel to their Group Offices located in Solihull or Worcester on an occasional basis, and as required. Any required travel (training/meetings as example) will be reimbursed in line with their current policy and current Inland Revenue Mileage rates. Car parking at their offices is free.
