This role is going to appeal, if you are an experienced Payroll professional who has experience of working in an organisation which has a large and complex payroll and would love to work in a collaborative environment where you can make a positive impact.
Your duties will include :
- Oversee full-cycle payroll processes for the company.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations and guidelines.
- Lead and mentor the payroll team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR and Finance departments.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries regarding payroll.
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare regular payroll reports for management.
- Manage payroll audits and liaise with auditors.
Profile
A successful Payroll Lead should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading a payroll team.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and legislation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
