The business is looking for a Financial Accountant to come in and work directly with the CFO to help drive the business forwards and improve processes. Description
- Development of internal controls.
- Providing assurance and technical input to information prepared by the department for monthly and annual financial statements, regulatory returns and budgets.
- Support development of FP&A reporting function
- Ad hoc reporting to senior management team
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders
- Being a main port of contact for external auditors
- Working closely with CFO to improve existing processes
Profile
The successful candidate will be fully ACA/ACCA qualified and come from an Accountancy practice background. They will also be able to work autonomously within a fast paced environment. This role will be focusing on the technical side of finance and will be a essential in supporting the FP&A function. This will also be liaising with internal and external stakeholders throughout the audit process. Experience in financial services, from practice, will be highly beneficial going into this role.
