We are working alongside an award-winning creative tech company who are looking for a Finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing their financial operations and supporting strategic decision-making.
This would be an excellent role for someone looking to take a step up into a Finance Management position or someone who has held a similar role previously within an SME. Acting as the sole person within the finance division, this role is instrumental in both the transactional and strategic aspects of the accounts function.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the management and review of all journals, ledgers, and month-end processes
- Managing accounts in QuickBooks ensuring that both the accounts payable and receivable are up to date
- Preparing and monitoring budgets and forecasts as well as providing strategic analysis to the SLT
- Managing cash flow, particularly debtors and cash balances
- Processing monthly payroll, pensions, expenses, and other payments to employees and stakeholders
- Ensuring full compliance with all statutory requirements
- Manage relationships with external accountants, brokers, and bankers
- Getting involved in varied operational duties and other project work
What you'll need to apply
- Three years experience working in a similar role within an SME
- AAT Level 4 qualified
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software
- Strong excel skills
