New Job: Sales/Operations Manager
Location: UK - Remote working
Position Type: Part-Time - 5 hours per day, 5 days per week
An innovative food company is seeking a dynamic and driven professional for their brand-new position as their Sales/Operations Manager. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to work remotely, with occasional visits to the London office, offering flexibility and the chance to make a significant impact on the company's growth. Initially this will be for 25 hours a week and will increase over time to become a full-time permanent position if required.

About the Job:
- Wholesale Relationships:
Develop and nurture relationships with key wholesale customers, including top supermarkets like M&S, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, and Tesco, as well as cafes, restaurants, and other businesses.
- Business Development:
Identify and pursue new wholesale opportunities to expand market presence.
- Account Management:
Manage and grow existing wholesale accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Order Fulfilment Coordination:
Work closely with the production team to ensure timely and efficient order fulfilment.
- Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock availability.
- Customer Training:
Provide product knowledge and training to wholesale customers.
- Market Analysis:
Analyse market trends and competitors to develop strategies for business growth.
- Performance Reporting:
Prepare and present regular reports on wholesale performance to the management team.
- Online Sales Platforms:
Explore and nurture relationships with online sales platforms such as Ocado and Amazon.
- Operational Efficiency:
Maintain and increase business efficiency by developing and monitoring organisational processes.
- Invoice Approval:
Review and approve operational invoices.
- Compliance:
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Logistics Coordination:
Coordinate with customs clearing, warehousing, and logistics companies.
About you:
- Previous experience in wholesale management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
