CATERING ASSISTANT (Temp)

We are actively seeking passionate Catering Assistants to join our culinary teams across a diverse range of establishments in the Greater Belfast Area. This includes opportunities in hotels, restaurants, pubs, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and contract catering sites.
Day to Day of the role:
- You will be responsible for preparing and serving food and drinks, using the proper equipment and following the recipes and instructions.
- You will also be in charge of setting up and cleaning the dining area, the kitchen, and the equipment, following the hygiene and safety standards.
- You will help with the promotion of the meals service and work in the tills, handling cash and payments.
- You will record the temperatures of the food and equipment as required and secure the premises when needed.
- You will follow the relevant laws, regulations, and codes of practice that apply to your job.
- You will perform any other duties related to the service provision as assigned by your supervisor.
- You will work in a professional and courteous manner with your colleagues, students, and staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A passion for food and hospitality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to different kitchen settings.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a kitchen environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
