As Graduate BI Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our data and reporting initiatives. You will work closely with an experienced team and receive full training to develop your skills in data analysis and Power BI based reporting. Ideal candidates will hold a degree in STEM related discipline (or equivalent), a passion for data, and a willingness to learn in a fast paced commercial environment. This role involves working onsite 2 days per week per week in South Birmingham
Key Responsibilities:
- BI Reporting Enhancement: Collaborate with our team to revamp and improve our Business Intelligence (BI) reporting systems.
- Power BI Implementation: Assist in the implementation of Power BI to industry standards and work on data visualization projects.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making.
- Excel Expertise: Utilize your strong Excel skills to manipulate, analyze, and present data effectively.
- SQL Awareness: An understanding of SQL is beneficial, and full training will be provided to enhance your skills.
- Data Quality: Help maintain data quality standards, ensuring accurate and reliable information.
- Collaboration: Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and adopt new technologies and tools as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Passion for data analysis and reporting, with a strong willingness to learn.
- Ideally, an appreciation of databases and BI reporting concepts.
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with complex data.
- Awareness of SQL is a plus, with a willingness to further develop this skill.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work onsite at least three days per week and access to your own transport for potential site visits.
