Reed accountancy have recently partnered up with a fantastic business who are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team. This position will be mainly remote but occasional travel to the office will be needed.

Role Objectives
The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing analysis and reports to support strategic decisions. It also includes preparing forecasts, implementing financial policies, and contributing to the organisation's financial health and growth.
Core Duties
- Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage monthly and annual financial close processes.
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Oversee treasury functions, including domestic and international payments.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and reporting obligations.
- Support the financial setup of new international offices and liaise with local accountants to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments.
Key Requirements
- Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) or qualified by experience (QBE).
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong technical knowledge of tax and accounting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in financial forecasting and analysis.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero).
- Experience in multinational or cross-cultural environments.
- Knowledge of IFRS.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
