Full time (37 hours per week)

As part of bpha's strategic people and customer aims, our current EDI Strategy and associated annual plans are designed to deliver a range of colleague and customer commitments.

Now into the second year of the EDI strategy, we have successfully put in place a number of frameworks to deliver the strategy, including Board commitments and plans, a corporate strategic EDI programme board, and business wide inclusion groups and other activities. Our focus now is to deliver our EDI plans to support an inclusive organisation culture for colleagues and customers and support the embedding of our values and behaviours.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Partner with EDI expertise to shape and lead the next phase of our EDI strategic plans and implementation. You will be partnering with the business to support our leaders and managers to create an inclusive and accessible working environment for the benefit of our colleagues and customers.

You will be comfortable working with and engaging leaders and colleagues alike, a skilfull influencer supported through your subject matter expertise in your field, through keeping up to date with and sharing best practice to guide our customer facing and support services teams.

We would love to meet someone with:

  • Proven track record of EDI expertise in a range of organisations/sectors
  • Experience of supporting organisations to evolve their culture with an inclusion focus
  • Evidence of influencing ability, and experience in getting others on board, without having direct management authority
  • Subject matter expert - evidence of sharing best practice and current EDI related thinking/strategic insights
  • Collaborative influencing style, combined with resilience
  • Natural interest and curiosity
  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to balance wider business priorities with own EDI priorities
  • Experience of influencing or involvement in wider organisational projects or activities to support an inclusive culture
  • Experience of change or transformation projects would be an advantage
