Corporate Reporting Manager

We need an AWEsome Corporate Reporting Manager to help in shaping and delivering the corporate annual objectives.

Location: Our offices are based in Berkshire, RG7 4PR between Reading and Basingstoke with onsite parking.

Salary Range: Starts at £44,500 to £60,000 subject to experience

Requirements:

  • Qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of line management or leading a team

A typical day could look like this:

  • Providing and adding insight to the AWE consolidated financial position, by analysing trends, highlighting key risks and opportunities to the Head of FP&A, Finance Director, and senior stakeholders.
  • Deliver accurate, insightful, and timely financial information to the board of directors, senior stakeholders, and Defence Nuclear Organisation (DNO) including board packs, actual reporting, variance analysis and other various reports.
  • Drive and support the Finance Director review by providing relevant and timely management information.
  • Working with the Finance Business Partner (FBP), to lead Quarterly Forecast Reviews to ensure that forecasts are deliverable and demonstrate value for money.
  • Support the Business Planning and DNO Annual Budgeting Cycle (ABC)
  • Working with the Business Insights team to create a catalogue of financial reports and KPIs that add insight to AWE's financial position enabling decision making and driving performance.
  • Manage the relationship with the DNO finance to break down silos and foster a more collaborative culture.
  • Develop robust processes and controls to ensure risks are managed in line with AWE/DNO requirements.
  • Be part of a growing team of finance professionals who drive change through innovation and modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working collegiately facilitate business plans and objectives.
  • Drawing on the required support from the finance function or other functions related to finance.
  • Working collaboratively with Finance teams and other functions to ensure that senior leadership have the right information and advice.
  • Line managing a small team of 4-6 people
  • Setting the direction, empowering, inspiring, motivating, and coaching team members to enable delivery of objectives.
  • Supporting your team's development and career progression
