Divisional Pricing Coordinator

SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and as a merchant of roofing and exteriors products.

We are currently looking to recruit 4 Divisional Pricing Coordinators to act as a divisional resource to support our branches and external sales team by providing support in the creation and maintenance of customer quotations and terms. The post holder will be expected to collate and price project requirements as directed, ensuring consistency and accuracy of prices given.

What does the role involve?

As Divisional Pricing Coordinator, you will work closely with the external sales team receiving, reviewing, and actioning pricing and quotation enquiries, creating and maintaining terms for customers and for projects that have been secured. As you develop, you will make commercially aware suggestions and recommendations to optimise margin - i.e., cross-selling, up-selling and value engineering opportunities and support best practice in all aspects of pricing through working with the management and commercial teams across SIG & wider UK operation where required

The successful candidate will require:

  • Knowledge of K8, MS Office applications, SIGD Pricing Calculator and Sales Force - training can be provided
  • Commercially astute
  • Strong relationship skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong planning & organisational skills
