Responsibilities may include:
- Calculate material requirements using a standard set of procedures
- Create Bills-of-Materials by keying new data, part numbers, part description, and part details by following a standard set of procedures
- Understanding of yields and scrap rates for materials.
- Make changes to existing Bills-of Materials in accordance with Engineering Change Requests (ECR)
- Verify data for completeness and accuracy
- Administrative support including data entry, spreadsheet entry, etc.
- Communicate with the Engineering team on required new product releases and changes
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within department
- Recognize your role as part of the Company's Quality Objective
- Follow established policies and procedures in support of the Company's Quality and AS9100 standards
- Act within expected Company standards including Quality/AS9100 initiatives and environmental, health, and safety matters
- Perform other job related tasks as required to support the Engineering department
